To be frank, the GMAT isn't that hard - anyone can score 655+ if you give it 6+ months. The real challenge is securing your score in 2-3 months, especially while managing an internship or full-time studies. This is hard. If you're applying this year, the main challenge for you now is the time constraint. Between R2 and R3 you're racing against the clock. Every day counts. If you follow me on socials, you know about the ripple effect, and you know that after January a school like LSE receives ~50 applications per day. So yes, I mean it - Every day counts. Yes, I've been there too - you're a top achiever, you have a bit of an ego, you think you can still pull a 655+ score, but now you need to be realistic. You're not going to relearn math in 2 weeks, nor change the way you write English. if you hit a score plateau, be pragmatic and cut your loss. If you want to increase your score by 20-30+ points quickly, this is where I would focus: Test taking optimization Algorithm understanding Timing Strategy Last round, we had a Singaporean student who spent 4 months plateauing at 585. After 2 one-hour strategy calls with one of our GMAT mentors, she secured a 615 and sent her application last minute. She is preparing her interview for LBS and HEC now. Speaking about timing, exactly like a marathoner needs to work on their breathing cycle while running, you need to master your pacing strategy to ace the GMAT with confidence.
