What a year it’s been for Foothold! Over the past 12 months, we’ve embraced change, bidding farewell to some while welcoming new team members and Trustees. Thank you to everyone who’s supported us in this productive year, with new tools and initiatives to benefit the engineering community. Here’s a run-down of our year’s highlights: ➡️ We introduced Mental Health Check-In. This online self-check tool asks a series of clinically validated questions to understand the user’s experience of worry, anxiety and low mood. It then creates a personalised report with tailored advice, including links to support options and the ways Foothold can help. ACO - The Association of Charitable Organisations presented our team with this award for our Engineering Neurodiverse Futures programme, which helps people on their first engineering course access funding and support to get a diagnosis of neurodiversity and thrive in their studies and work. Our Grants team have been offering our community members in the UK personalised information and guidance on additional income and cost-saving opportunities. Qe Solutions Growth ↗️ Today, on Day 6, we’re celebrating the incredible growth of QE Solutions in 2024! This year, Qe Solutions (a division of MJ Quinn) achieved a remarkable 98.87% growth, transitioning from being exclusively focused on BT to diversifying its revenue streams. This includes making new partnerships in the energy storage cooling sector, such as MSP, Immersia, and Inbox projects. Additionally, our QE service and maintenance team successfully secured three new contracts.
