Alhamdulillah… we have LAUNCHED! We had our first ever event and it was a booming success! We have a lot of exciting stuff planned for the new year!

As a member of MMU-Entrepreneurs society, I helped with the Marketing Workshop that took place yesterday! This was a collaboration with the start up company Accelerate Me where we had guests speakers provide tips in relation to personal branding and building your own online profile. It was incredibly useful and has hopefully inspired many more young entrepreneurs in taking their next steps!

Micromanaging was one of my biggest fears! 😅 As the marketing lead for MMU-Entrepreneurs society for 2 years, I struggled to trust others with tasks, so I did it all. Now, I have an amazing team! 🌟 I provided them with the essential training and after just 2 months I was able to delegate roles: Sajid Uddin as graphic designer, Sophie Morris as LinkedIn manager, and Kaka for content creation. While in Germany, I set tasks for my team before our big event. I was nervous they wouldn’t complete it without me. But guess what? They sold 120+ tickets🎉making it A SOLD OUT EVENT. Leading to a successful event with Co-Host Accelerate ME & guest speakers Arta Baca, Carina Palita & Muhammad Sami Ullah Shah. So grateful for my productive team! 🙌

We are thrilled to announce our SOLD OUT marketing and networking event was successful🙏🏽 After months of planning, our collaborated event with Accelerate ME, was a good end to Semester 1 of 2024 academic year at The Manchester Metropolitan University. Thank you to our guest speakers; Arta Baca Carina Palita & Muhammad Sami Ullah Shah, for your time and dedication to inspire future entrepreneurs and marketers🥳 All attendees were able to gain insights in the marketing and digital world, providing them with employability skills and crucial knowledge to navigate the business world. To then being able to network with like minded students, entrepreneurs and marketers. Fulfilling our mission of building entrepreneurial characteristics in every student! Ps. I am incredibly grateful to Accelerate ME and the MMU-Entrepreneurs society for providing me with the opportunity to plan and host our recent marketing workshop. I am also greatful to our three amazing speakers Muhammad Sami Ullah Shah Carina Palita Arta Baca. It was an enriching experience that allowed us to share valuable insights and strategies with an enthusiastic group of participants. After reflecting on this event, I hope to improve in the future and provide even better events for those who attend. I'm looking forward to future collaborations with Accelerate ME , where we can continue to foster innovation and entrepreneural growth. 🌟Hosting the Muslim Entrepreneurs Event🌟 Last Friday I had the privilege of hosting a successful Muslim Entrepreneurs MCR welcome event in #Manchester. The event was a platform for aspiring entrepreneurs to connect, share their experiences, and explore opportunities for growth. Whether it was students needing ideas and advice, or an opportunity to network for future collabs, everybody won and took something from the event. That was the intention after all. Our communities need unity, and to push the notion of helping one another. It doesn’t have to be all about me me me - you can win, but you can help others win too. We had a lineup of great speakers, all entrepreneurs in different fields who shared their journeys, challenges, and insights into navigating the business world as Muslims. Along with the delicious tea and snacks, one of the key highlights of the event was the panel discussion, where I got to ask more personal questions to our panelists regarding themselves and their businesses, and to also hear their opinions and motivations. There were some brilliant responses! A special thank you to Mohammed Sultan at Redwood Founders, Anees Saeed, Nahima Abdul and MMU-Entrepreneurs society for their work behind the scenes, our speakers and panelists Muhammad Talha Nisar, Nimrah Thapper, Muhammad Abrar, Moasib A., Fuwaad Muhammad, Mohammad Tanzil Ur Rehman, and everyone else who attended for making this event a success. Bringing together like-minded individuals demonstrated the huge demand for more events like this in Manchester.
