Did you know? - Zipper merging This is one of the cool new features in Vissim 2024, for more detailed modelling of merging behaviour on ramps and adjacent lanes. Vehicles anticipate and synchronize, creating suitable gaps even if a hatched marking initially prevents lane changes. This reduces the number of unwanted stops at the end of ramps, resulting in a smoother merging process.
