MCS was called upon to provide an innovative solution for access within a raised hollow floor. Once completed, the floor would typically be finished with a solid covering, which would prevent access to the crucial services beneath. To address this, our MCS floor access covers are supported by a custom-made ‘Z’ section support frame, factory-welded to ensure the necessary strength and support, while still allowing easy access to the services below. The access cover is recessed, allowing the surrounding flooring to be laid flush within it, ensuring a seamless finish and unobtrusive access when needed. #raisedfloors #hollowfloors #gotyoucovered

New restrooms at London Bridge Station London Bridge Station, one of the city’s busiest rail hubs and the fourth-biggest in the UK, got well-needed additional public toilets. These new restrooms installed our MDS-75 medium-duty stainless steel access covers. 🚉 CONTRACT AWARD 🚉 Exciting news MCS has secured works to supply its quality floor access covers to the new Network Rail Cambridge South Station. We are excited to be a part of such a prestigious project that will not only enhance transportation in the region but also contribute to the overall growth and development of Cambridge 👏🏼

MCS are supplying a 60-cover 'MDS-75' medium-duty stainless steel duct run at Knightsbridge Station on the Piccadilly Line. This will provide safe and secure access to the services being installed below. This complex duct includes angles and falls in levels to suit the tunnel, which dates back to the early 20th century.

✈️ Progress Update ✈️ Some pictures showing the ongoing installation of a complex duct run, which once complete will consist of over 600 bespoke depth access covers at London Heathrow Airport on behalf of our client Access Floors Ltd and main contractor Mace.
