When making a will it is important to consider any assets you own that are outside of the UK. It may be that you can make an English will to cover both UK and non-UK assets, or you may need to have an English will to cover UK assets and a second will made in the country where you have non-UK assets. The Health & Safety Executive (HSE) published the annual statistics for 2023 to 2024 on work-related health and safety in Great Britain. The figures show that 1.7 million people are suffering from a work-related illness, of which 776,000 workers are suffering work-related stress, depression or anxiety.
