Inspiring The World To Move More - Making Movement A Movement

About us

Move Mojo is the world's first adapted exercise program which ensures that no one, regardless of ability, is excluded from sports and physical activity. We re-invented exercise but as a game where every person is welcomed and recognized as a valued player achieving their personal best. We deliver ✅ Inclusive physical activity and sport ⬆️ Sports Development 📚 Provider Education We believe that exercise should be fun and inclusive, so we turned it into a game and made it for everyone. 🌎 Our vision is to inspire the world to move more. 💫 Our mission is to instil fun and encourage movement in individuals with disabilities so they feel empowered to live a healthier lifestyle. 🌟 Our philosophy is people-centred, our approach is holistic, and our purpose lies at the heart of everything we do! We know movement is essential to our lives. However, prioritizing movement doesn’t look the same for all of us. For individuals with unique challenges, Move Mojo creates opportunities to reintroduce movement as a source of health and well-being — and, most importantly, as a source of fun! Leading with positivity and empowerment, our coaching is grounded in our experiences from Paralympic-sport. We translate these philosophies into specialised training techniques that are built specifically for individuals with disabilities. Unlike traditional health care practice that reacts only to illness or injury, we focus on building proactive habits that empower people to live long, healthy and independent lives. A life of physical activity belongs to all of us, no matter our abilities. Move Mojo embraces an inclusive community so that everyone can keep their lives and health in motion.

🎯 Equipping Physical Activity Providers At Energize STW, we supported Parkinson’s UK and Move Mojo to deliver expert-led training on designing inclusive physical activity sessions for people living with Parkinson’s. 📌 Key Takeaways: ✅ Understanding Parkinson’s and how movement supports well-being ✅ Practical exercises tailored for different abilities ✅ Breaking down barriers to participation One attendee shared: “The training inspired me. • Last week, we delivered three key topics to Parkinson's UK Midlands team at their physical activity education event in Shropshire — alongside Energize Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin Active Partnership. Our focus? Making physical activity truly adaptive and person-centred. 🔹 Training the person, not the disability – How to build movement strategies around the individual, not just their diagnosis. 🔹 Applying skill acquisition principles – Using constraints-led coaching to adapt sport and physical activity effectively. 🔹 Gamification & engagement – Designing inclusive, dynamic sessions that work for everyone, not just a specific condition. At Move Mojo, we take elite sport science and coaching principles and bring them into community sport. From national governing bodies to charities and local authorities, we help organisations build high-level adaptive coaching models that work in real-world environments. Because great coaching isn’t about a condition—it’s about unlocking potential in every individual. 🔥 Want to explore how adaptive coaching and expertise from our team can impact your organisation? Let’s chat.

The Sit to Stand Squat has to be one of the most boring exercises, yet the bread and butter of every community health program - but who wakes up in the morning and looks forward to going to a room to do 3 X 10 sit to stand squats? Not many people & we wonder why every year physical activity levels drop, especially in the wider community This is the gap of needing to bring more scientific led principles of physical preparation and pedagogy into the community. This is an example of how we make the sit to stand into a game and inclusive A gamification model of a drill to then a game using target based games. Inclusive Strategy using constraints led approaches i.e. the chair, targets, partner. Focused purely around physical literacy development for life longevity and empowerment.

  • 🎯 Move, Play, Belong: 15 Seconds That Say It All! 🚀 Here’s a quick glimpse into a Move Mojo session where 3 core principles come to life: 🤝 Equity – Everyone gets to play, their way. Adaptations are built in so participation isn’t just possible—it’s meaningful. 🌍 Community – It’s not just a game; it’s teamwork in action. Watch participants coach, guide, and support each other—whether holding a ramp or pointing out targets for each other. 🎯 Gamification – Turning fundamental movements into FUN. Because when learning feels like a game, progress and engagement comes naturally.

  • Our teams Goal: Physical Preparation Principles & Knowledge Into The Community In 5 Years So That No One Is Excluded From Movement 🌍 Grateful to have a team that has a combined mission and goal, it was great to watch Alex Dowson MSc, BSc session, very lucky to have him on the team with his coaching ability, experience and love for developing people. The session today was delivered in partnership with a local authority our aim for this is to get Para Sport and Physical Prep knowledge/experience into the community to deliver a proactive public health intervention. 1️⃣Reducing Fall Rates 2️⃣Increasing Independence 3️⃣Empowering People This session was the lunge pattern, it was great to see Alex and his philosophies around delivering constraints led approach games to develop the lunge pattern within a population that has so much movement variability.
