✨ With the #VES Awards just days away, we’re celebrating MPC’s stunning work on Young Woman and the Sea, nominated for Outstanding Supporting Visual Effects in a Photoreal Feature. MPC worked closely with director Joachim Rønning to bring Gertrude "Trudy" Ederle’s historic English Channel swim to life. Under VFX Supervisor Jeremy Robert and Producer Roy Khalil, artists crafted digital ocean replacements and a tense jellyfish sequence, seamlessly blending CG with live-action. ✨ Young Woman and the Sea is now streaming on Disney+. #VESAwards #VFX #MPC #YoungWomanAndTheSea #Disney
