We are still buzzing from last weeks Legends Dinner at The Shankly Hotel which raised an amazing amount of money for our NOISE Programme. Our NOISE programme has been running for 14 years, and has helped hundreds of young people in Merseyside that were once in a dark and lonely place, gain trust and confidence and completely turn their lives around. Some of our young people have gone on to form their own bands, and have even performed at UK festivals! We need to grow so that we can extend our reach to other young people who may need our help ❤️ We have launched the LET'S MAKE SOME NOISE" campaign and would love for you to become part of our journey 🙌 We are reaching out to local Merseyside businesses to ask them to donate or fundraise £1000 towards our programme. It would make the world of difference! If we can get just 7 companies to commit, this would fund a music mentor for one day per week for one year! We are excited to announce our first sign up Avrenim Group Adam Newberry who got to hear from one of young people at last weeks event. Thank you so much for your ongoing support 🙏❤️ Who is ready to help us MAKE SOME NOISE? #letsmakesomenoise #changinglives #merseysidecharity

Liverpool's Primary school staff are invited to participate in our next ROAR Primary programme. Book here > https://lnkd.in/eRyKsQ4b
📅 ROAR Primary 21st Jan 2025, 9:30am - 4:30pm Our ROAR Primary programme helps staff to implement a whole-school approach to mental health, developing a bespoke mental health and emotional wellbeing policy that supports staff, pupils, parents, and carers. With 1 in 5 young people experiencing diagnosable mental distress—and increased demands—the emotional needs of pupils can't rest on just one pastoral team or individual. ROAR empowers senior leaders to: ✅ Strengthen staff knowledge & resilience ✅ Equip teams to respond to the mental health needs of young people, families, and colleagues ✅ Build a proactive, compassionate school culture The course covers essential topics like: ● Children’s mental health and an introduction to the ROAR response. ● Specific areas of concern such as anxiety, low-mood/depression, behaviour as communication and parental mental distress. ● Access to whole-staff CPD and parent sessions to deliver in your school. ● A selection of lesson plans and resilience-based assemblies. Learn more about ROAR and how we can support your school’s mental health journey. 🌈 #MentalHealthMatters #WholeSchoolApproach #ROARCourse #EducationLeadership #WellbeingInSchools ➡️ Book here > https://lnkd.in/eRyKsQ4b https://lnkd.in/eqTR75uv

Mindfulness involves paying attention to what is going on inside and outside ourselves, moment by moment. 🤔 It's easy to stop noticing the world around us. It's also easy to lose touch with the way our bodies are feeling and to end up living "in our heads" – caught up in our thoughts without stopping to notice how those thoughts are driving our emotions and behaviour. 😶🌫️ Engaging in mindfulness benefits our overall wellbeing ❤️🩹
