I'm starting the New Year by taking a look at the value of standards - initially reacting to the rolling back of #PCI #MPOC Version 1.0’s #standards requirements within Version 1.1 which was published on 26th November 2024. I'm making the point here that standards bodies must deliver more benefit to the market they serve, than the costs which industry participants incur in the course of complying with their standards. If they do not keep this in mind bodies risk becoming irrelevant - stimulating the use of other standards or #waiver schemes. Connected with this discussion, we put Mypinpad through the rigorous #ISO 27001 standard certification to offer our customers and partners greater confidence in our secure, resilient mobile card payment acceptance and identity authentication solutions. Early market reaction has been very positive.
