🙋♂️ It’s International Men’s Day. Join PocDoc as we bring awareness to the preventable health crisis affecting men across the UK. 🙇♂️ Around 133,000 men in the UK die prematurely every year, according to the “The Real Face of Men’s Health” report by the Movember Institute of Men’s Health. 🔗 This is linked to men engaging in behaviours that put them at a higher risk of disease, such as high alcohol consumption, poor diet and physical inactivity. Men are also more likely to delay their doctor’s visit or only go when it is urgent. ➡️ These behaviours increase their risk of heart disease, diabetes and cancer. 🩺 So, this International Men's Day, we encourage men to take the necessary steps to take charge of their own health.
