native x PureGym 💪 Whilst many UK students may already be familiar with PureGyms entrance pods and personalised weights, university is the first time young people have control over their own health and wellbeing. With 42% of students wanting to see health and fitness brands on campus, and 19% actively planning to spend on their wellness era in the early weeks of a new uni year. PureGym knew it had to get in front of students early. And where better to start than with Freshers 2024? They selected 18 locations across the UK, focusing on areas which were positioned near PureGym locations in high-volume cities. Students who visited their activation had the chance to play fitness-inspired games in exchange for scanning a QR code. Reflecting on the tour, Joanne Forshaw, Senior Marketing Manager at PureGym, said: “It was a really good opportunity for all as a positioning point of view… It helped show that gyms are really approachable, not intimidating spaces.” This was just the first rep.
