My interview with BBC 3 counties for NATRE was about the need for a national plan for RE. We need specialised teachers and a CPD programme so that we can navigate the challenges of the RE classroom and learn to disagree agreeably—something my students at Hethersett Academy and Inspiration Trust will be focusing on.

Supporting NATRE as they call for #politicians to look again at the way #YoungPeople experience #ReligiousEducation. Young people deserve to be taught Religion and Worldviews in a competent and up to date way. Neglecting the #humanities is factor to much of the social polarisation we have seen. Real life encounter in also RE/R&Ws is essential – and the feedback we keep receiving from our EFB workshops continues to show us how important this area is for #teachers and #students.
