Winter can be a particularly challenging time for many when it comes to wellbeing. The shorter days and longer nights can leave people feeling disconnected, low on energy, and even isolated. But winter also offers a unique opportunity to reconnect with ourselves in a more mindful way. Cosying with a book, for example, allows us a bit of healthy escapism, providing mental stimulation, comfort, and even a sense of connection to others through storytelling. In our latest issue of Homeport Magazine, we find out more about Reading Force and how books give so much more than just a story!
