Here at Naylor Industries, recycling is important to us. At every site across the Naylor Group, we make a conscious effort to reduce waste and recycle materials as much as we possibly can to minimise our impact on the environment. So, in honour of Recycle Week, we thought we’d share a few examples with you… ♻️At Barugh Green, we have a handmade water recycling and purification system that saves around 8,000 litres of water per day, which equates to around 2 million litres per year! ♻️Across all sites our day-to-day waste is carefully segregated to achieve zero to landfill, with cardboard bailed and sent to a recycling company in bulk. ♻️Excess plastic from our production lines in Wombwell are either sent to a local waste handler to recycle or we re-granulate it in the factory and then use it for our injection moulding machines. It's Friday the 20th of September - Maddie's Day 💛💛💛 The #MaddieRoseCampaign was set up back in 2021 in celebration of the life and work of Maddie Rose Hollamby, an inspirational young woman who was dedicated to showcasing careers and inspiring young people to enter the construction industry. Since her tragic death, the Maddie Rose Campaign has generated over £155,000 and has helped inspire a whole host of young talent to fulfil their potential in the supplier and merchanting sector. We've gone yellow to show our support of this fantastic cause and help raise awareness of the hugely important work being done in partnership with the Construction Youth Trust.
