The Nuffield Department of Medicine (NDM) at the University of Oxford has a global reach and significant breadth in terms of capabilities and capacity. A new study by researchers from the Oxford University Clinical Research Unit, the Centre for Tropical Medicine and Global Health, the Infectious Diseases Data Observatory (IDDO) and others has found that methaemoglobin levels during treatment for vivax malaria could be used to predict population-level malaria treatment efficacy.
