Award-winning giving platform that helps businesses donate volunteer time, money and surplus to local good causes.
About us
Neighbourly is an award-winning giving platform that helps businesses make a positive impact in their communities by donating volunteer time, money and surplus products, all in one place. We were founded in 2014 with the aim of helping businesses deliver meaningful and sustainable community investment, into thousands of locations across the UK and Ireland. We believe that by putting local impact at the heart of responsible business we can create a system that works for everyone. We’ve grown into an award-winning, market leading CSR platform that serves some of the world's biggest companies and supports thousands of local good causes working to improve lives and habitats in our neighbourhoods. In 2015 we became one of the UK’s very first B Corporations, meaning we’re a for-profit company certified by the non-profit B Lab to meet rigorous standards of social responsibility and environmental performance, accountability and transparency. Being a B Corp underpins our core values and belief that business can be a force for good. Together with our fellow B Corps around the world we are redefining how sustainable communities are built and what success in business means. In 2020 we were accredited by the Good Business Charter, launched the Neighbourly Foundation to provide continued financial support to local community causes. The Neighbourly Foundation is now a Marks & Spencer Sparks Charity. It’s always a pleasure to attend events and share conversation with people who care about the same things we do.🙌 Yesterday, Theo Allen joined New West End Company at their 2025 Sustainability Showcase for a morning sharing ideas and learning from attendees from their partner businesses. Theo showcased our volunteering, donation management and surplus redistribution solutions to members of the West End BID to provide members with insights on how they can progress on their respective sustainability journeys. 🗣️He said “It was inspiring to connect with like-minded professionals who are passionate about driving positive change and to hear first-hand about the incredible initiatives shaping the future of the West End.”
I had the pleasure of attending the West End Sustainability Showcase on behalf of Neighbourly—a truly rewarding event spotlighting innovative approaches to creating a greener, more sustainable future for our cities. It was inspiring to connect with like-minded professionals who are passionate about driving positive change and to hear firsthand about the incredible initiatives shaping the future of the West End. A huge thank you to New West End Company and the organizers for putting together such an insightful event.

🧶Last week, a group of Neighbourly colleagues spent an afternoon learning to crochet in order to create handmade hearts for Children's Hospital Pyjamas who will package them with the pyjamas donated to children in hospitals, hospices and women’s refuges. Two matching hearts are donated with the pyjamas so that the child can keep one for themselves and share the other with a loved one, keeping them connected even when they may be apart.❤️❤️ Thank you to the team who volunteered their time to this cause, we know it will mean a lot to all the children who receive this gift. Want to learn more about the good cause or even crochet your own hearts for them? Head to the link in the comments.

📣 Two exciting Neighbourly updates hitting the headlines today This week we officially launched our Surplus Saviours product capability - with Neighbourly founding partner Marks and Spencer being the first to successfully trial it! This initiative offers individuals the opportunity to collect free surplus food from stores where a good cause is unable to. This expansion of our food redistribution programme will significantly increase the amount of good quality meals redistributed within local communities, and support our retail partners in reducing their waste.💙🌍 In another amazing step forward for food redistribution, we've also worked with Cornwall Council to remove the restrictions associated with the time surplus use-by date food is collected so that it aligns with consumer guidance. This is a major win and we're so proud to have led this change.👏 Read this article from The Grocer to find out more > https://lnkd.in/ecTF3fJQ
