Award-winning giving platform that helps businesses donate volunteer time, money and surplus to local good causes.
About us
Neighbourly is an award-winning giving platform that helps businesses make a positive impact in their communities by donating volunteer time, money and surplus products, all in one place. We were founded in 2014 with the aim of helping businesses deliver meaningful and sustainable community investment, into thousands of locations across the UK and Ireland. We believe that by putting local impact at the heart of responsible business we can create a system that works for everyone. We’ve grown into an award-winning, market leading CSR platform that serves some of the world's biggest companies and supports thousands of local good causes working to improve lives and habitats in our neighbourhoods. In 2015 we became one of the UK’s very first B Corporations, meaning we’re a for-profit company certified by the non-profit B Lab to meet rigorous standards of social responsibility and environmental performance, accountability and transparency. Being a B Corp underpins our core values and belief that business can be a force for good. Together with our fellow B Corps around the world we are redefining how sustainable communities are built and what success in business means. In 2020 we were accredited by the Good Business Charter, launched the Neighbourly Foundation to provide continued financial support to local community causes. The Neighbourly Foundation is now a Marks & Spencer Sparks Charity. On the 3rd day of #GoGive we celebrate the brave Santas of sponsor Motability Operations Ltd 🎅 👏 In the face of severe weather warnings last weekend, a handful of heroic Santas drove through Bristol city and gathered to collect donations for the Charlton Farm Children's Hospice charity. "Their festive presence brought smiles and confusion to Christmas shoppers as they waved and honked their way through the city." Thanks to their gallant fundraising efforts, employees from Motability Operations have now raised a huge £1828.75 for the local hospice, with contributions from their employer's match funding offering through Neighbourly ⭐ A huge well done the Motability Operations team for raising invaluable funds for a brilliant cause whilst spreading a bit of Christmas cheer to the people of Bristol 👏 #GoGive #GoGiveCommunity #ChristmasGiving #LocalGiving

On the 2nd day of #GoGive, we give thanks to our good causes 💙 The GoGive campaign was created to ensure the small charities and community causes in our network are given the extra support they need over the winter period. Our Autumn 2024 Community Survey found: 📈 78% of small charities say demand has increased over the past 3 months 🫴 50% say there are people they can't help due to limitations in capacity or funding ❄️ 69% feel their ability to meet demand this winter will be even more challenging than last year And despite these adversities, there are remarkable individuals all over the UK and Ireland working tirelessly to support vulnerable people in their communities. To name but a few (pictured): Maya's community support Centre, Sustenance, Genesis Trust, London Homeless Welfare Team - and to the 36,000+ others... Thank you. If you'd like to find out more about how you can help good causes in your area this Christmas, visit the link in the comments. #GoGive #GoGiveCommunity #LocalSupport

🎁 It's #GivingTuesday, which provides the perfect opportunity to highlight our next GoGive sponsor, Marks and Spencer As industry pioneers of sustainability and community action, this iconic retailer has demonstrated that a multinational business can make a huge difference on a local level. M&S became a founding Neighbourly partner in 2015, launching innovative programmes to engage its colleagues in fundraising and volunteering, redistribute surplus food and provide grants to community charities across the UK. In 2024 alone, M&S has supported over 1700 community causes around the UK, reaching over 3.6 million people. And we’re delighted that they continue leverage their resources and reach nationwide in a sponsorship that will provide crucial support to those most in need this winter. We are delighted to have you on board to spread a little more Christmas cheer again this year M&S 👏 #GoGive #GoGiveCommunity #GivingTuesday

Today, we're proud to share a powerful story that captures the heart of community support 🤝 A new short film by Director Jake Bishop reveals the incredible work of Sustenance, a Neighbourly charity in Hastings founded by Rima Sams. The film provides a deep insight into how this small charity provides nutritious food, bringing hope and connection, to local people facing hardship and food poverty. "We have people who are full time carers, nurses, in part-time employment who find that they're struggling to afford the shop on week 3 or week 4 of the month" This isn't just about food – it's about addressing inequalities, the power of human connection and the individuals who work tirelessly to ensure those in our communities who need extra support aren't going hungry. "I've been in the UK as an asylum seeker for nearly two years and I started thinking of something to contribute to the community... I find it really therapeutic its giving back to the community where you, for many years, have been asking for help and support. But also being able to give back is a nice feeling, it makes you feel alive again." You can sign up for free to access the full documentary.
