Just a quick one chaps it’s international men’s day today and if no one eles tells you I just want to say you are appreciated and loved ❤️ The Silent Struggles of Neurodivergent Men When was the last time you really saw the men around you? Not just their faces—but the weight they carry, hidden behind smiles, silence, or exhaustion? For neurodivergent men, that weight can be even heavier. The stats don’t lie—neurodivergent men face mental health battles every single day. Yet, many feel too ashamed or misunderstood to speak up. They mask their struggles, bury their pain, and try to fit into a world that often doesn’t fit them. It’s time we changed that. Here are some of the signs 😔 🔹Struggling in silence. Neurodivergent men are more likely to experience anxiety, depression, and loneliness—but far less likely to seek help. Many suffer quietly, feeling as though they must handle everything on their own. 🔹Missed diagnoses. Conditions like autism, ADHD, and dyslexia are often overlooked in childhood, leaving many men to grow up feeling misunderstood and broken. These late diagnoses can rob them of the chance to embrace who they truly are. 🔹Hiding their true selves. To “fit in,” neurodivergent men mask their struggles, pretending to be someone they’re not. This takes a heavy toll, often leading to burnout, frustration, and a loss of identity. 🔹Help feels far away. Men in general are less likely to seek mental health support. For neurodivergent men, stigma, fear, and a lack of understanding make it feel impossible. I also believe that the workplace isn’t working for them as over 80% of neurodivergent adults are unemployed or underemployed. For many, workplaces fail to provide the support or flexibility they need to succeed, leaving them feeling undervalued and stuck. Here’s the truth: these men need us. Today is International Men’s Day. 🙌 Take five minutes to reach out to a neurodivergent man in your life. Ask how he’s really doing. Listen without judgment. Let him know that he is seen, valued, and celebrated—just as he is. Small actions create big changes. ❤️ Together, we can build a world where neurodivergent men no longer feel the need to hide—where they can thrive, not just survive. 💙 #InternationalMensDay #MentalHealth

"Imagine being a child, desperate to learn, but instead of receiving support, you're sent away... forgotten, misunderstood, and left in the cold."🥶 In my humble opinion, every child has the right to an education, and due to my undiagnosed dyslexia, the education system sadly missed mine. 😔 The picture you see attached to the right was my school and the picture on the left is similar to where I spent most of my school days. This was a place called "the unit," where they would send (in their words) troublesome kids. You see, I wasn't misbehaving or disrupting classes-l just didn't understand the lessons and the way the teachers were educating us. The reason behind my removal from the classroom was simply because, in the early days, I would constantly put my hand up and ask question after question, as I just didn't understand. This frustrated the teachers, and alongside my poor work, I was removed from lessons and placed in the unit. I can still smell the damp and feel the cold from that place, and my only activity while being in there was coloring in. Dyslexia awareness and inclusivity are so important to me, and it's one of the many reasons why I do what I do. Have you or someone you know ever felt misunderstood by the system? I'd love to hear your story. ? ❤️ #Education #Dysleixa #Neurodivergent

Ever wondered what happens when you absolutely refuse to let go of a dream? A few years back, I started my dyslexia journey by reaching out to 76 different organisations. During my research, I discovered the International Dyslexia Association Conference - the biggest, most prestigious stage in the dyslexia world. However I was too late for the 2018 event, but right then, I made myself a promise: I would speak at the 2019 conference. 👊 Despite becoming an IDA global partner and putting in countless hours of work, I couldn't secure an official speaking slot. But here's the thing about real determination - it doesn't take 'no' for an answer. So what did I do? I jumped on a plane to America 🇺🇸 anyway! With nothing but belief in my mission, I went into EVERY single conference room, spoke to EVERY organizer I could find. I shared my passion, my vision, and why I needed to be heard. Then, like the universe was testing my dedication, an opportunity appeared - a speaker couldn't make it that day. Because I was there, because I'd shown up and made my presence known, they gave me their slot. From sending that first email to standing on that stage - it just proves that when you truly believe in what you want to achieve, you create your own opportunities. Sometimes the path to your dreams isn't a straight line. Sometimes you've got to fly across the world, knock on every door, and be ready when that one chance appears. Dream big. Show up. And never, ever give up! 🙌 #DyslexiaAwareness #NeverGiveUp #MakeItHappen #Persistence #DreamBig"

Outstanding evening attending the British Dyslexia Association Awards alongside my beautiful wife Kelly Clark ❤️ It was an honour to be asked to be a judge and see and hear all the winners share their own experiences of living with dyslexia. Everyone who was nominated should feel very proud for sharing their stories snd inspiring others 🙌 Wonderful to meet up with many friends and the dyslexic community all striving to make a difference ❤️ On another note it was very special to spend time with my entrepreneurial inspiration Theo Paphitis talking all things business and Dyslexia. And finally thank you Penny Lancaster for the inspirational speech and both yourself and Mark Aldridge for the wonderful conversations on our table. To the British Dyslexia Association Team congratulations and well done on an incredible event. #BDAawards24 #empowerment #confidence
