A stunning new statue of Queen Elizabeth II crafted by renowned sculptor Andy Edward’s has been unveiled in Queen’s Gardens as part of the town’s 850th anniversary celebrations 🫶 The bronze statue based on a 1973 Royal visit to Castle, stands as a tribute to her reign and the hardworking spirit of the local community. As Edwards eloquently put it, the Queen’s legacy continues to represent the “connection between us as people.” The unveiling ceremony concluded with a reflection on one of Queen Elizabeth II’s own Christmas messages from 2002, which Edwards cited in his closing remarks: “Each day is a new beginning.
