GB start with a win! GB 50- 14 IRE. GB were dominant in the first match of the Women’s Cup in Paris. GB had a chance to play all 8 players and try out a number of different lines. A great start to the tournament. The Women’s cup is an event run by the French Wheelchair Rugby Federation and is currently the only international event for female players. This will be the fourth time the event has been run in Paris and the GB squad are returning to defend the title they won last year. Wheelchair Rugby is a mixed gender sport and has two versions of wheelchair rugby, catering for different levels of impairments. “It’s life changing.” Meet Phoebe Gibbons ‼️ We caught up with Phoebe in between games at last weeks D2 competition. Phoebe has recently been selected for the Women’s Cup in Paris. We loved chatting to Phoebe, she is so humble. The squad will be attending the Women’s Cup in Paris from 5th to 7th December 2024. The Women’s cup is an event run by the French Wheelchair Rugby Federation and is currently the only international event for female players. This will be the fourth time the event has been run in Paris and the GB squad are returning to defend the title they won last year. The squad will be flying out on the 2nd December, followed by 2 days of training and classification, before the competition starts on the 5th December.
