💭 Want to gain actionable insights, learn from industry leaders, and be inspired by the digital community? ❤️ Here are some of our favourite pieces of feedback from last year's #CampDigital attendees: - "Great to see so many familiar faces and even meeting new people felt really easy - gives the event a real caring community feel." - "It was my first year and I didn't know what to expect, but I loved all of it. I'll definitely be back next year." - "First thought is just how much I needed it. The great content; Reconnecting with the community; The positive, and often difficult, reinforcement of the what & the why of things we do. So much to distil." Treat yourself (or your team!) to tickets to join one of the North's leading design and digital conferences. Or, if you can't make it to Manchester, why not book to join our main stage livestream? 🗓️ Thursday 3rd July, Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester Learn more and book your tickets at the link in the comments. • Accessibility is becoming increasingly important as Europe pushes forward with initiatives to ensure that everyone, including people with disabilities, can access online services and digital products. With the upcoming European Accessibility Act (EAA) 2025 set to expand these standards to private sector organisations, the landscape is changing rapidly. 🌍 But just how well are individual countries across the EU doing when it comes to digital accessibility? Accessibility Team Lead Danny Lancaster analysed the digital accessibility maturity of all 27 EU member states, and included the UK. Danny's ranking system evaluates countries based on factors such as: - adoption of accessibility legislation - effectiveness of enforcement - public awareness - training availability - user engagement. Read Danny's findings at the link in the comments, and learn more about our 'I Matter Too' campaign, raising awareness of the importance of accessibility beyond compliance. ⬇️ #accessibility #a11y #EuropeanAccessibilityAct #EAA
