🧭Today we take you with us, between the north of Scotland and England, where we have recently completed the marine activities for the Eastern Green Link 3 (EGL 3) project, on behalf of National Grid and Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks.   💡This fascinating project involves the development, of two High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) electricity transmission links, named EGL 3 and EGL 4.  The EGL 3 project, in particular, is a connection between Aberdeenshire and Lincolnshire and is currently in development.   ❔Are you wondering what NextGeo has specifically done for EGL3?  We conducted geophysical, geotechnical, and benthic surveys for the offshore & nearshore cable corridors, and for the cable landfall areas.   🚢As you can imagine the project has involved multiple vessel solutions, both offshore and nearshore, to ensure timely completion of all our tasks. Including our Ievoli Cobalt, NG Driller e Ievoli Grey.   📸Here some pics!
