We’re thrilled to share some big news – White Rose Park is the new home for our Leeds office! This relocation marks the next evolution in our long history in Leeds, where we first established an office back in 1921. Our new, 25,230 sq ft space is currently being refurbished to create a dynamic and collaborative workplace. Combined with the fantastic facilities offered by White Rose Park, our move supports our strategic growth and sustainability ambitions and targets. Jonathan Stockton, CEO of NG Bailey, said: “Our move to White Rose Park marks an exciting new chapter for our business. While our office in Brown Lane West in Holbeck has been our home over the past five decades, our relocation to a modern office space under a long-term lease is crucial for our growth in Leeds and the wider Yorkshire region.” David Aspin, Chief Executive of Munroe K, owners of White Rose Park, added: “We are delighted to welcome NG Bailey to our White Rose Park community. Their move is a real endorsement of our park and our collective ambition to provide the working environment of the future where people look forward to attending the office.” We’re excited about this next chapter in our history and look forward to welcoming colleagues and visitors to our new Leeds office space.

  • As the principal contractor for First Bus, we’re proud to play a key role in its journey towards carbon-neutral transport. Our work includes designing and installing charging facilities at two bus depots in the West of England.   This week, it’s been fantastic to see the team’s progress at the Minehead depot. Through our partnership with First Bus, alongside local contractors and suppliers, we're driving positive outcomes for both the environment and the local economy. #NetZero #ElectricVehicles #PublicTransport

Strategy & EV Director at NG Bailey - Services division

I visited our project at First Bus's Minehead depot earlier this week. As principal contractor the NG Bailey team has completed the electrical design, the installation of four EV chargers, feeder pillar and GRP housing, new fencing and security gate, CCTV and new lighting columns. It was great to see all the hard work which has gone in from the team and our supply chain partners this year with the chargers in position ready for energisation and commissioning in the new year. A recent virtual roundtable by Building and Bluebeam brought together experts to explore how tech and teamwork can advance sustainable retrofitting. Anna Hunter MSc CEng CMgr, NG Bailey’s Technical Director, emphasised: “The real power of technology lies in its ability to bring engineers, architects, contractors, and clients onto the same page.” She highlighted the need for tools enabling real-time collaboration and smarter carbon assessments to tackle retrofitting complexities. The future of the built environment depends on innovation and integration. Read the full story here: https://bit.ly/3ZMZskW #Retrofit #Sustainability

This festive season, NG Bailey is proud to support CRASH - Construction Industry's Charity, helping to create a Ripple of Change for people experiencing homelessness and those in need of hospice care across the UK. As we look ahead to 2025, we remain committed to shaping a sustainable future, working with our colleagues, clients, and communities to make a positive difference. Thank you for your continued support. Wishing you a peaceful and enjoyable holiday season, and we look forward to working with you in the new year.

  • As the festive season approaches, colleagues from across the business have been actively giving back to local communities in preparation for the holiday break. Between November 11 and December 20, a total of 216 colleagues will have volunteered 1,147.5 hours, which is equivalent to 153 days—what an incredible achievement! This year, we have primarily focused our charitable efforts on food banks and children's gift charities. Thanks to the time and generosity of every volunteer, we have made a meaningful impact on those in need. Volunteering events have taken place from Scotland all the way down to the South Coast and have included the support of our generous supply chain partners. A heartfelt thank you goes out to everyone for going above and beyond to assist those less fortunate during this festive period. Be sure to check out the round-up video below to see the wonderful work that has been done!

Last month, colleagues from across the Group joined forces to support the Mencap organisation in conserving their grounds, organised through Hyde Source. This fantastic collaboration brought together our supply chain partner Edmundson Electrical Ltd, alongside colleagues from Engineering, Facilities Services, Freedom Networks, and Professional Services. Everyone pulled together to make this outdoor voluntary activity happen. Grant Summerscales from Edmundson shared his thoughts on the experience: "We all truly enjoyed assisting and witnessing the positive impact this type of initiative can have." A huge thank you to everyone involved for your incredible teamwork and for making a meaningful difference in our community. #Volunteering #SocialValue
