Had a fantastic day at the Killis Ltd. open day, catching up with Tibor Killi, Lee Armitage, and Matthew Middleton. It’s always valuable to see the latest in equipment and innovation in our industry, and today didn’t disappoint. A highlight was the DRYFT—the world’s first S-motion scrubber dryer—pushing boundaries and redefining cleaning technology. Very impressive piece of kit. And of course, no trip up north would be complete without a hearty plate of pie, mash, mushy peas, and gravy! Thanks to everyone at Killis for the hospitality and great insights. On this Remembrance Day, we honour the brave men and women who served, including our Managing Director, Shaun Wall. The images here, taken during Shaun’s deployment with the RAF Regiment in Iraq back in 2004, stands as a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made by so many. Through projects with Ecologi | B Corp™, we were able to offset our entire 2022 carbon emissions. 🌍 One of the key projects contributing to this achievement is the Macaúbas Landfill Gas Project in Brazil. This initiative focuses on collecting and utilising landfill gas, significantly reducing methane emissions that would otherwise enter the atmosphere. Verified by the Verified Carbon Standard, this project not only highlights our commitment to environmental responsibility but also aligns with three of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Together, we are taking meaningful strides in the fight against climate change and fostering a sustainable future.
