We're proud to continue our long association and sponsorship of Nottingham Playhouse Panto with Jack and the Beanstalk a GIANT show packed full of laughs, boos and brilliant songs! Recently we had to explain to Giant Blunderbore - provided by Little Wolf Entertainment - that we couldn't accept magic beans or golden eggs for payment! We're not quite sure he got the message!

At Nottingham City Transport, we’re incredibly proud of our team’s dedication to serving our community, and this week, we’re celebrating the outstanding actions of one of our drivers, Ramazan Koumrigia. During his shift on the N4 in the early hours of Sunday 17th November, Ramazan encountered a man in distress at a bus stop in Clifton. The individual was unable to communicate his name or situation, prompting Ramazan to act swiftly. After contacting emergency services and learning of a six-hour wait time, Ramazan prioritised the man’s well-being by taking him directly to Queen's Medical Centre A&E on his bus. Not only did he ensure the man’s safe arrival, but he also escorted him inside and spoke with staff at the booking desk to ensure he received immediate care. Ramazan was also supported by three passengers on board, who assisted in helping the man, and we’d like to extend our thanks to them for their kindness and support during this difficult situation. Ramazan’s actions demonstrate the empathy and dedication that underpin everything we do at NCT. When asked about it, he humbly said: “It was the right thing to do in the situation, and I would hope anybody would do the same.” This act of kindness has received widespread praise, and we’re inspired by the way Ramazan exemplifies the values we stand for.
