We loved working with the Stream.Security team at our event last week. They brought the drinks AND the entertainment with Adam Usher even performing a completely improvised song for the audience 🤣 Further collabs on the horizon... news coming soon about our next event. 👀 🥳
4 weeks have flown by! Coming into Stream Security at the start of last month, it was CRUCIAL for us to build on previous work in the UK and continue to get our name out there... and we've done a bloody good job in my view. Let me tell you about last week. ☀️ Amy Stokes-Waters said she was hosting an extremely non boring by event for the cyber security folks. No boring long intros with people trying to sell themselves. No long form speakers. And an absolutely no selling of any product. Simply a day where people can come together and learn about the cyber security industry. Amy then asked me to be a part of the burnout and resilient panel. And what a panel it was. At the end of the day, cyber security is rife with high pressure, stress and inevitably burnout. I feel extremely grateful that Amy asked me to come on share my wisdom about a topic that’s near and dear to my heart. Key take aways 👇 ✨ you have to have boundaries to ensure you can keep doing what you love ✨ some organisations are simply toxic and no amount of effort is going to change (unless it’s from the top down) ✨ managers HAVE to be role models for their teams ✨ change has to start with leadership Thanks for having me along.
