Over the past 2 years, we’ve been planning & delivering a shift from Building Information Model (BIM) to the Autodesk Construction Cloud (CC) system. To prepare for this transition, our team have trained over 500 people through 55 hours of expert-led training sessions, ensuring everyone is equipped for a successful AMP8 delivery of works. As we gear up to transition our project teams to the Autodesk platform for AMP8, it’s exciting to see how we can expand the use of BIM, harnessing more digital designs to deliver real-world results. 🚨 Contract Extension with Resolve VR & Meta 🚨 We’re thrilled to announce that our partnership with Resolve VR & Meta has been extended for another 5 years through AMP8. This marks a significant leap forward into how we conduct our design and operations reviews within the @one Alliance! Also from April, we’ll be upgrading from our current Meta Quest 2 to the new Meta Quest 3 devices. We're back at our Water Recycling Centre (WRC) in Southend, where we're upgrading our dewatering and sludge handling processes. As part of this project, we're installing new centrifuges, strain presses and a 1,000m³ sludge tank to enhance how Anglian Water manages and processes sludge, supporting a more sustainable future. Once the sludge is processed and transformed into a dry product, it will be stored in a new 250m³ cake silo ready for transport! By investing in our infrastructure, Anglian Water Services will be able to responsibly manage the sludge production of the WRC & prevent the risk any future environmental contamination! #oneAlliance #AnglianWater #Southend #Dewatering
