This year, in support of London Poppy Day and Remembrance Day, our team helped raise an incredible £1,285,000 for the Royal British Legion! Led by Estate Manager James Maynard and Security Manager Andrew Gough, our team volunteered near One Crown Place and Liverpool Street Station, working alongside the Armed Forces to engage with Londoners and raise funds. "It's always amazing to see the generosity of Londoners and the connection between the Armed Forces and the public," said James. Andrew added, "The support and generosity from everyone passing through Liverpool Street Station were unbelievable. We see so many negative news stories that it’s easy to forget the goodness in humanity. Yesterday was a powerful reminder of that. The atmosphere was incredible, with civilian veterans and active military volunteers working together. We raised a fantastic amount for such a worthy cause."
