Lunch & Learns at Open Medical 💡 Every month, a different team leads our Lunch & Learn sessions—sharing work and insights, and teaching each other something new. It’s space to ask questions, challenge ideas, and learn together. 📝 This month, our head of research, Tim Hoogenboom, walked us through a peer-reviewed paper we recently published in BMC, exploring the cost savings for patients using Pathpoint eDerma. (Link to the paper if you're interested 👉 https://lnkd.in/eckqJPJN) Interestingly, this research stemmed from Patient and Public Involvement committee sessions, where patients repeatedly brought up how much money they'd save on parking, travel, and time off work with our teledermatology model. It was a reminder that digital transformation isn’t just about clinical efficiency but also about the impact on people’s lives. And this also brought on a great conversation on the importance of truly reducing inefficiencies and not just shifting the burden onto someone else. Great discussion, great questions.
