Oxford Road Cafe is Hiring! Part-time Kitchen Assistant required at busy Altrincham cafe! Duties include: • Washing, peeling, and preparing food ingredients • Using equipment such as mixers, special knives, and cutters • Reviewing kitchen inventory and determining what items are needed • Unloading fresh supplies and organising the stockroom • Checking sell-by dates and rotating food stock • Cleaning kitchen appliances, ovens, dishes and pans • Observing cooking times and correct temperatures The perfect applicant will: - Be fully flexible and able to work weekends - Have a good degree of physical fitness (The role can be quite physically demanding at times!) - Have previous experience in a similar role (Not essential as full training will be given) - Have confidence enough to work independently without regular instruction from the Head chef - Be over 18 years of age What you'll get: NLW + Tips + TRONC 4 Weekly Pay Paid Holiday (calculated pro rata) Discounted food and drinks Uniform Provided Fun working environment For more information, or to apply for this role, Please send a copy of your CV to email info@oxfordrdcafe.com / Subject line: 'FAO Head Chef'
