Never Give In! On our latest series on Books With Pace #bookswithpace we are highly recommending Never Give In by Scotty Mills. After an incredible talk at the Retail Awards, our CEO purchased the book for the whole management team and we can safely say this is one of the most inspirational books you will ever read. Scotty Mills, a former Royal Marine Major talks through his personal experiences after a remarkable life and career in the Marines. He uses this brilliantly to give inspirational advice and insights with his 12 Commando Rules for Life, that he has used to help the England football and Rugby teams to Olympic gold medal winning GB hockey women’s team. We love this book for many reasons as it is not only inspirational but can be used for any business or team. It also talks into the importance of inclusivity which is a key focus for our business. Scotty’s experiences with Kate Richardson-Walsh OLY OBE, the GB women’s hockey captain, resonated strongly with our CEO who used Kate for an inspirational talk with one of his teams. WELL DONE TO THE HAY LIFE TEAM FOR BEING NOMINATED FOR 2 DRAPERS AWARDS!! This is an incredible achievement. The brand has taken over 2 years to get from conception to launch but to be nominated for 2 awards in such a short space of time is testament to the excellence of the Hay Life Clothing Ltd team. The PPL team has been working closely with Hay Life to execute a number of key campaigns and it is great to see the brand be nominated for Best Marketing Campaign <£100m. However, the award which says it all is Hay Life being nominated for the Diversity and Inclusivity Award. This is more than just a brand but a statement on the importance of unisex fashion for the industry. Hay Life is already breaking boundaries! Bio-synergy are the leading sports supplements company, renowned for their Innovations with sports and nutritional supplements, as well as their DNA testing kits used by NASA and a number of celebrities.
