  • It’s been a bit since the clocks turned back! ⏰ Now that nighttime is setting in earlier, are you finding it difficult to see in the dark? Night myopia can affect people of all ages, especially younger adults! If you are experiencing difficulty driving in the dark, struggling to see the road signs, or concentrating more in dimly lit surroundings, you could need your vision checked! Don’t let the season hold your vision back! 👀🌘 P.S. we don’t mind being here in the dark! We offer late night appointments on Tuesdays and Thursdays until 7pm. ☎️ 0115 950 0051

Social Media and Marketing Executive at Park Vision Nottingham

And that’s a wrap… From a little nervous graduate who had no idea on which direction to take, to a Marketing Executive for a top tier opticians! One word - thank you! Thank you to the entire team at Park Vision for believing in me and my capabilities, for pushing me to strive for more, create new ideas, test my determination, improve my dedication… and keep me on my toes. Controversial opinion but hiring a graduate is a risk… yes we know how to study, write a bunch of essays, create presentations, analyse a study; but we don’t know how to always ‘do’. The real working world cannot be taught through a page in a book, or lecture at University - it requires a passionate, strong, innovative business, with a welcoming team of experts who are willing to share their wealth of knowledge and develop your intellect. A leader (Michelle Beach) who supports your further learning, offers courses, funds photoshoots, roots for your creative ideas, and provides unconditional support. A team who don’t make you feel scared for ‘just being a graduate’ but offer kindness in allowing you to grow, and perhaps make a few mistakes a long the way. Thank you for being my first stepping stone - and thank you for making it a fantastic one! Camilla Anderson; Chloe Hyde-Barker; Park Vision Nottingham

With Halloween around the corner, we’d like to remind our Park People about the dangers of coloured contact lenses! Did you know it is illegal to purchase contact lenses unless they are supplied by a registered health professional? Yes, even non-prescription novelty and coloured lenses! Lenses purchased online pose a risk to your eye health and safety, as they may be made of illegitimate materials and are not measured to fit you individually. As winners of Contact Lens Practice of the Year, we know the importance of using contact lenses correctly… not to mention we have access to every brand and type of contact lens on the market! Protect your eyes this Halloween and beware of novelty lenses! Please remember - we’re here to help! 🎃

Ps., who’d have thought a robot could make a contact lens?! Come into Park Vision and we’ll tell you all about it😊
