We’re proud to deliver comprehensive metocean services that support offshore wind developments around the world. With over 20 years of experience and involvement in projects throughout Europe and beyond, our expertise has been instrumental in enabling the success of some of the most ambitious renewable energy initiatives. Some of our highlights: 🔹 Kattegat Syd, Sweden In water depths of 10m to 35m, we deployed: - A wave buoy, ADCP, and CTD to capture detailed metocean data, including the full directional wave spectrum, current profiles, salinity, temperature, and turbidity. 🔹 Korsnäs, Finland Operating through two challenging winters, we’re measuring: - Ice thickness and movement across three locations. - Complete metocean conditions such as suspended sediment concentrations and current speed and direction, ensuring data accuracy even in harsh environments. 🔹 Vesterhav Syd, Denmark For Vattenfall’s offshore windfarm, we deployed: - A Datawell MKIII waverider, gathering real-time wave and current data to assist in construction activities, despite adverse weather conditions. 🔹 Green Volt, UK As part of Flotation Energy’s offshore wind project, we: - Installed a Floating LiDAR system alongside other metocean monitoring equipment, delivering high-quality data on wind resources, waves, and marine conditions to inform site assessments and environmental evaluations. Why Partrac? From deploying equipment in shallow waters to managing projects in depths exceeding 250m, we adapt to the unique demands of every project. Whether working in the Canary Islands, or on projects closer to home, we combine technical expertise with a commitment to delivering accurate, actionable data. We empower our clients to make informed decisions on their offshore wind projects, driving renewable energy forward. 💡 Want to learn more about our metocean and wind resource services or discuss how we can support your next offshore wind project? 📩 Get in touch at info@partrac.com #Metocean #Partrac #OffshoreWind #Renewables #DataDriven #WindEnergy #EnvironmentalMonitoring #EnergyTransition #WindResource

How we've grown in 2024 🌟 Lets start with the people.. We've had 17 new, and very talented, starters join us this year covering all areas of the business such as our Commercial Team, Operations Team, Data Team, and HSE Team. And with such experience already in-house we're wrapping up the year with some great stats to look back on: 🦺 650 survey days (equipment servicing/deployment) and counting 🌊 Recording wave heights of up to 20.68m, with a corresponding significant wave height of 12.94m ❄️ Measuring ice thickness & movement 📃Populating more than 11 million data points 🐚Seabed morphological studies, metocean site characterisations & assessments Which totals to safely supporting the development of 27.5GW of Offshore Wind Farms with high-quality data! 🤩 So a big thank you to all of our clients and new connections for choosing us to support you and your projects. Roll on 2025! #Partrac #Venterra #Renewables #OffshoreWind #WindEnergy #Metocean #WindResource #EnvironmentalMonitoring #EnergyTransition

We asked Peter Wilson to reflect on a memorable highlight from his time at Partrac, and he shared this wonderful story with us: I was asked to write about a particular highlight during my time at Partrac, but with over 20 years since Sam, Kevin and I first started the business, on my kitchen table at home in Helensburgh, there have been so many great moments, that it has not been easy to single one out for this purpose. When I consider all that we have achieved since 2003, growing our business from an idea, to a science led sediment tracing survey company, and into one of the leading Metocean survey companies in Europe, I have to admit to being very proud of our success and all that we have achieved. How on earth did we manage this I wonder sometimes? I found this blurry photo tucked away on our server, in a folder titled ‘sentimental’. And for good reason it seems, as this picture shows the very first ‘warehouse’ we rented, a doorless store cupboard in our office which I recall had a curtain to separate it from the 4-person office. Being a marine business, it was not unusual to find that as the office temperature rose, so did the marine derived odours, which permeated into the corridors and other offices on the 4th floor of the building; we were not always very popular! Fast forward to October 2024, and the transformation is awe-inspiring. No longer do I share an office space with 3 people, an ADCP, a day grab and a CSM, but instead with a team of over 50 people and a warehouse in which we can house our entire metocean equipment fleet, with ample room remaining for equipment design, build out and servicing. Our team and facilities are a symbol not only of our remarkable growth, but of our intentions and ability to continue developing, globally. And so, a career highlight for me must be the significant growth of the company since those early beginnings, achieved through the shared determination of my colleagues Sam and Kevin, myself, and the exceptional dedicated teams of people we have had the pleasure of working with throughout the years. Collectively, we have built a leading metocean business, and now that we are supported within the Venterra Group, the World, as a good friend often used to say, is our lobster😊. Thank you, Pete, for sharing this inspiring look back at Partrac's journey. Here’s to the future and all the new milestones yet to come! 🌍 #Partrac #OffshoreWind #Renewables #Venterra #HelpingWindPowerGrow #Highlight #Metocean #Europe
