Endometriosis workplace training & fertility coaching: Enhancing health & driving success for individuals and businesses

About us

Vicki Hodges is the founder of Pausefully, offering endometriosis coaching and workplace training designed to support both individuals and organisations. Her mission is to ensure that endometriosis never defines a person’s quality of life or success at work. As a disruptor in the endometriosis world, Vicki aims to change the conversation by addressing misinformation and the minimisation or dismissal of symptoms. Having faced her own health risks due to medical gaslighting, she is dedicated to closing the gender health gap through challenging the status quo, dispelling myths, and removing the stigma surrounding endometriosis. Vicki’s work crosses gender boundaries, striving to educate and create an inclusive understanding of the condition that can change future health outcomes for all, both in and out of the workplace. For companies partnering with Pausefully, this means building a more engaged and productive workforce, reducing absenteeism, enhancing wellbeing, lowering staff turnover, saving money, and boosting their reputation. By equipping teams with the knowledge and skills to create a supportive environment, encourage open conversations, and prioritise employee welfare, companies can promote inclusivity and a positive workplace culture. Pausefully emphasises the importance of slowing down and empowering individuals to truly understand their needs, advocate for themselves, and take control of their health. Through personalised 1:1 coaching, Vicki helps clients manage the complexities of the condition in their personal and professional lives. Her strategic support addresses challenges such as pain management, emotional stress, fertility concerns, and career development - this leads to improved mental and physical health, and the ability to achieve personal and professional fulfilment without compromising wellbeing. hello@pausefully.co.uk

That means members of your team could be silently managing: ⚠️ Chronic pain and fatigue ⚠️ Difficulty attending work consistently ⚠️ Emotional stress from feeling unsupported The impact on workplaces is significant: ❌ Increased absenteeism ❌ Reduced productivity ❌ Higher staff turnover and burnout But here’s the good news. With the right awareness and support system, you can change this. At Pausefully, I work with HR professionals and leadership teams to: ✅ Raise awareness about endometriosis through webinars and training ✅ Equip managers with tools to support affected employees ✅ Build a culture of inclusivity that improves wellbeing and retention 📞 Create a workplace where no one struggles in silence - book an endometriosis awareness session for your team here: https://lnkd.in/emxcrZgm #HRleadership #inclusiveworkplace #endometriosis #pausefully #employeewellbeing #workplacewellness

  • 🤯 Since February 2020, gynaecology waiting lists across the UK have more than doubled. Records show around three-quarters of a million (755,046) women's health appointments are waiting to happen - up from 360,400 just before the pandemic leaving thousands of women in agony and forcing many to turn to costly private care. Claire’s story in the BBC news this week is just one example of what so many endure (https://lnkd.in/ew8Ri_cj) 💔 Years of misdiagnosis 💷 Spending over £10,000 on private surgery just to manage debilitating impacts of endometriosis ⏳ A three-year NHS waiting list to see a consultant so she went privately These delays aren’t just numbers—they represent real lives, real pain, and the emotional toll of feeling unheard, dismissed and women's health not being a priority. This is particularly true for Black, Asian and minority ethnic women in the UK, who continue to have worse outcomes and experiences than white women. The "Change NHS" campaign is a crucial step in addressing these issues and a chance to lobby for much needed funding and system-wide support essential to transforming women's health. Read about it here on the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists | RCOG website https://lnkd.in/e2YGs7g6 It’s time for systemic change. Join the conversation, raise awareness, and demand better care for women. Every voice matters so please speak out whenever you can. 💛 #endometriosisawareness #womenshealth #Pausefully #healthcarecrisis #ChangeNHS #gynaecologicalwaitlist

  • Living with endometriosis is often a struggle. This weekend I've been having flare ups that have left me fatigued and in pain. The thing I find tough is dealing with how it leaves me feeling. From speaking with many in the endo community I know there is a lack of emotional support for us (and to be honest lack of any physical related support too unless it's the unwelcomed ''take this pill and go away''!) 🫶 So I created 'Cuppa and Conversations' an endometriosis online monthly support group that provides a space for anyone who's finding life with endo a challenge - be it you yourself or someone that helps care for someone with the condition.🫶 Tonight I host my last one of the year and I'd love you to join me. Connect with others who share similar experiences, build friendships and get expert advice. Share, listen, and feel supported without fear of judgement, all from the comfort of your own home. 👉 Register for a FREE space here https://lnkd.in/eATAsNZ5

  • Shockingly, 50% of women with endometriosis report having suicidal thoughts due to the relentless pain and lack of adequate care. Saff's story of living with debilitating #endometriosis highlights a harsh truth: over 630,000 people in the UK are waiting for #gynaecology appointments, and many are left feeling unheard, unsupported and reaching their breaking point. Women deserve to be heard, respected, and equipped with the tools to make informed choices about their care. Whether it’s tracking symptoms, seeking second opinions, or considering alternative treatments, every step toward empowerment matters. It’s time to rewrite the narrative around endometriosis. Women deserve more. At Pausefully, I help women take control of their health by: ✅ Advocating for themselves during medical appointments and at work ✅ Exploring alternatives for pain and anxiety relief ✅ Navigating the emotional stresses that come along with endometriosis Women deserve to be believed, respected, and empowered to make informed choices about their care. While the system catches up, we must bridge the gap and normalise conversations about alternative treatments. Share your thoughts below - together, we can push for change. #EndometriosisAwareness #AdvocacyMatters #HolisticHealth #WomensHealth
