Our purpose is to transform teams, and the way they operate, to help people flourish in their work. We exist to: - Help clients, partners and fellow positive activists transform, adapt and reinvent themselves through assisted systems of designing, facilitating, coaching, teaching and experimenting with us; - Know as much about the next stage in human, organisational and work evolution to help others learn and be enlightened about the ways to craft better lives through good work; - Bring together as many key players as we can in creating a coalition that builds a better future of work and; - Place more business imperatives towards the climate emergency and regenerative activities for our planet.

    🌍 We are proud and delighted to announce our successful B Corp™ recertification! This builds on our initial certification three years ago and allows us to stay with over 9,000 enterprises globally that believe business should be a force for good. 🌟 Being a Certified B Corporation® means that organisations have to evidence and demonstrate their systems align to the qualifying standards but even more so, a commitment and accountability for operating with the highest standards of social and environmental responsibilities and impact. It is a rigorous process and rightly so, one which we've always been dedicated to being measured against. The B Corp process addresses five essential areas: Governance, Workers, Community, Environment, and Customers. With each recertification, companies must demonstrate their commitment through rigorous standards and a minimum score of 80 points, proving responsible practices in areas such as sustainable resource use, fair worker compensation, inclusive and transparent governance, and environmental stewardship. With a score of 112.6, we’re proud to have raised the bar even higher as we continue to improve, evolve and diversify. Our journey with the B Corp movement began in 2021, and our original certification score of 99.7 was a proud milestone. This latest score reflects our ongoing drive to excel. This achievement also comes after a challenging year, where we encountered some obstacles yet stayed true to our mission for greater sustainability, transparency, and resilience. This was also the year we developed our first spin-out, ARC. A Regenerative Culture., through which we’re supporting other organisations on their sustainability journeys. This initiative significantly contributed to our increased score, demonstrating our commitment to an impact-driven business model. 🌱 At People & Transformational HR Ltd, we have based our ways of being not on four simplified words that represent our values; but on eight principles.     Having been privileged to facilitate the customer panel at this Skills Think Tank, and discuss in detail the activity happening in some of these organisations, my one compelling takeaway from the day was “Start”. Don’t wait until you think you have created a perfect skills framework for your organisation; it will be out of date as soon as you have completed it. Today’s pace of change waits for nobody and SkyHive can quickly and accurately assess and map the skills of your workforce in days, not weeks or months. SkyHive will facilitate your workforce planning, internal mobility and help close skills gaps quickly. Being future ready will deliver the workforce agility you will need to remain successful; and that future is a skills-based one. Have a read of the blog and let me know what you think.     In early October, our Founder and Chief Energy Officer, Perry, addressed a room of people professionals keen to explore the skills agenda in the world of work and what may be ahead in terms of more efficient and effective ways of utilising our capabilities, proficiencies and skills. Hosted by our friends at Cornerstone On-Demand and featuring their exciting new product line Sky-Hive. Lots is being written, shared and explored around a departure from fixed job description-led working to more flexible, fluid and responsive ways of moving our skills to the work; and not the work to jobs. It's unlikely that all jobs will become a deconstructed entity and all companies will become skills-based. Operating in an "open-source" way (like Git-Hub in the digital arena or more recent examples in other industries that are becoming more Skills-Based like Genentech and Bayer in Pharma) may not be feasible or desirable. But much of the knowledge work we do, probably is a candidate for that shift. And in many ways, our obession/dedication to self-managed enterprises is largely a skills-based construct. No job titles, rank or boxed up roles and more lead and chosen accountabilities and adaptable ways to create value and impact through autonomous, aligned ways of working. Here's Perry's reflective blog post looking at platforms; tech; 6 S's (a more economical version of McK's 7S's?) and we hope you find this illuminating.
