Large scale spectaculars and sustainability aren’t words often associated with each other, so we are super proud to have received a highly commended award from Conference & Incentive Travel (C&IT) for the Best Sustainable Initiative for the 52nd UAE Union Day. Working with our friends at The Bulb, this was one of the first major events in the UAE to be awarded ISO 20121 ­­– the leading international standard for event sustainability, making this the most sustainable UAE Union Show to date. Big shout out to our team and our wonderful suppliers whose ongoing commitment to sustainable practices made this all possible. A thousand firefighters rallied in London on 8 October, calling on MPs to rebuild the fire and rescue service. We supported the Fire Brigades Union with this National Rally for the third year in a row, creating the event identity, staging and assets. From our digital campaign to the t-shirts which filled the Rally room with red, our bold messaging and design helped to mobilise FBU members, ensuring they understood the union’s demands and knew how their voices could amplify them. After the Rally, members met with MPs, telling them it was time to deliver on their promises, and to make real change for firefighters and the communities they protect. It has been one year since the Opening Ceremony of the FIFA Women's World Cup™ Australia & New Zealand 2023, a ceremony where we bought local communities and women’s sport to a global stage. Broadcast to more than 100 countries worldwide, with a digital audience of 800,000 fans and a sold-out stadium, the opening ceremony was an opportunity to celebrate and honour the achievements of the players competing in the tournament and inspire and empower women, and all sports fans, across the globe. Live update from North Berwick – Scotland. Loves. Golf. Last week, we welcomed golf fans to experience new ways to interact with the sport they love, in the Fan Zone at the Genesis Scottish Open. In partnership with DP World Tour, we created a fresh approach to Fan Zones, inviting people to experience golf through free coaching, mini golf, a golf gaming arcade and an interactive art installation. Whether hitting balls in virtual reality, navigating around local landmarks in mini golf, or following the world-class action around the course – it was all about people, passion and playfulness. The Genesis Scottish Open audience love their golf – and we loved being there with them, to share in the joy of the sport.
