Did you know that Petrow Food Group offers Peanut Roasting services in the UK? For decades now, Petrow has been sourcing and processing dried fruit and nuts for major food manufacturers in the UK. In 2023 we invested significantly in a new plant in Haverhill Suffolk. As part of that, we installed a dedicated Peanut Roaster line that provides the capacity and flexibility to produce roasted peanuts to your exact specification for onward manufacturing. This features:   •      An optical sorter that the peanuts pass through, cleaning out foreign material •     Two heating sections on the oven with 100% heat coverage of the nuts due to the perforated belt •     The 2 heat sections can be set at different temperatures and are separated by metal flaps •     Product is cooled before being transferred and packed •     Adjustable bed depth of nuts and belt speed   We can source peanuts from origin on your behalf or take delivery from your supplier directly in our large warehouse. We’ll cope with short or long production runs depending on your requirements. We’ve talked a lot on Linkedin about Petrow Food Group’s significant investment into snack bars in the past year. What many people don’t realise that Petrow already owns an established brand in this sector and has been driving its growth by providing high quality manufacturing facilities in the UK.   Hunky Dory was established by a group of passionate food professionals back in 2017. Based in Yorkshire, they brought to market some really innovative snack bars and fruit snacks under the B’good, Onli Natural and Fruit Works brands. Their mission is to make tasty food that is a simple and natural as possible, using only the best, ethically sourced, ingredients. With a focus on sustainability and a competitive pricepoint, they quickly established a foothold on the British high street selling through major retail chains.   Petrow Food Group started working with Hunky Dory Foods several years ago and took the decision to invest financially in the brand in 2022. Since then, Hunky Dory have operated commercially at arms-length with Petrow providing significant synergies in sourcing ingredients.
