About us
PinPointEye is a location sharing application that allows map locations to be quickly and very accurately stored as saved places in multiple lists that can be shared with other users and non-users alike. Clicking on a saved place, instantly opens up Google maps for the saved place and provides the familiar directions functionality. Suggested lists; Places to eat, travel destinations & City Tours, favourite friends & relatives, favourite shops, short stay lets. Useful lists will also be available as downloads from the PinPointEye website, including City break pinpoint tourist destinations & historic/heritage sites. The People screen allows multiple users to be tracked via location sharing where for added security, location share requests have to be accepted before location sharing takes place. Emergency contacts can be set-up so that in case of an emergency, your emergency contacts will be able to see where you are and be able to track your whereabouts. We are now live on the Play Store with PinPointEye, ready for a Beta rollout to the public in the second or third week of January. A hyperlink update is almost complete, ready for inclusion in the rollout. Users will be able to link saved places to a URL for; a website, photo, or video. PinPointEye tours will be transformed with the inclusion of hyperlinks. A new tour of the Cotswolds YouTube video will be available soon to show what is possible, including a marketing feature for Tour Guides.
