Our friends and colleagues from PKF member firms across New Zealand reunited in Dunedin last month for the annual PKF New Zealand conference. 🇳🇿 With a theme of ‘Leading Through Turbulent Times’, the event provided a valuable opportunity to learn, grow and support each other. Guest speakers shared their insights on a raft of engaging topics, including client relationships, innovative technologies and sustainability. PKF New Zealand’s emerging leaders enjoyed sessions focussed on having better conversations and building meaningful connections. The conference wrapped up with an inspiring talk from Olympic rowing champion Shaun Kirkham. Shaun shared a powerful story of resilience and teamwork, demonstrating that true success comes from collaboration and unity. Outside of the main agenda, delegates had lots of opportunities to nurture friendships, from the team-building scavenger hunt to the black-tie dinner at Larnach Castle. Outstanding commitment to future professionals 👏 We’re thrilled that US member firm PKF O'Connor Davies has achieved the top spot in Vault’s 2025 150 Best Internships rankings. This is the second year running that the firm’s internship programme has been ranked number one on both the overall list and the list of programmes for students in the accounting industry. What’s more, the firm’s programme remains the best for overall diversity. To compile the rankings, almost 20,000 interns from 300 companies were surveyed across diversity and ‘quality-of-life’ criteria, covering areas like career development, quality of assignments and training and mentoring.
