Planet Smart City

Planet Smart City's Universe community in Pune, India, is coming to life with over 440 families already calling it home. To celebrate this milestone, we held our first resident-focused event, bringing together over 200 people to experience our #innovativecommunity model.   During the evening, Marco Pilia, Managing Director of Planet in India, introduced residents to the services and features designed to enhance their #qualityoflife, including the Clubhouse, #PlanetApp and #PlanetSIM services. Interactive activities and a networking dinner fostered connections and a sense of belonging within the community.   Developed in partnership with Koltepatil Developers, Universe incorporates 39 smart solutions and comprises nine 22-storey towers. With almost all of the 1,775 units sold, the complex will eventually be home to more than 5,400 residents.   As we welcome more families into the Universe community, our dedicated #CommunityManagement team will continue to enliven and enrich their shared experiences, making Universe a vibrant and #aspirational place to live.

We are pleased to announce the “Innovare la Filiera del Vino” challenge, launched by SLOW FOOD PROMOZIONE S.R.L. SOCIETA BENEFIT on the #SmartCoreHub, to rethink the wine #supplychain through #innovation and #sustainability.   This initiative, aligned with Planet Smart City values, seeks solutions for #sustainablemobility, efficient logistics, and #recyclablepackaging tailored to small and medium-sized producers.   It highlights the importance of blending tradition with innovation to foster environmental responsibility and collaboration in #agrofoodproduction.   The challenge will culminate in the fourth edition of the #SlowWineFair, held from 23 to 25 February 2025 at #BolognaFiere, offering participants a platform to showcase their ideas and connect with industry leaders.   For more details on the challenge, visit the Smart Core Hub: https://lnkd.in/dzrhp4vt

In January, #Milan will welcome Wo.Ka Club, a co-working space that redefines the concept of the #workplace, transforming it into a hub of connection and support for those who face the daily challenge of balancing personal and professional life. At #PlanetSmartCity, we are proud to contribute to this project by supporting the #smarttransformation of the spaces and fostering #communityengagement among workers, intending to create a true workplace community. We are excited to see this space come to life, with people at the centre and well-being at the forefront. COP29, themed "Investing in a Liveable Planet for All" and known as the "finance COP" for the agreement on a #NewCollectiveQuantifiedGoal – NCQG, emphasized the critical role of #renewableenergy in combating climate change and promoting sustainable development. Our COO and Deputy CEO, Daniele Russolillo, presented the #D2FX project in #SmartCityLaguna and #SmartCityAquiraz, Brazil, showcasing how integrating #digitalenergysolutions can enhance #communitysustainability and pave the way for a #digitaltransition in the energy sector. Earlier last month, over 30 #ULIItaly Young Leaders from companies such as Hines, BNP Paribas, and Lendlease visited #SeiMilano, a smart district developed by Borio Mangiarotti S.p.A. Nicholas Gerritsen, Project Innovation Designer at Planet Smart City and a #ULIYoungLeader led the tour, providing an overview of Planet’s #smartspaces and solutions. “The visit highlighted how we have seamlessly integrated high standards of #sustainablebuilding practices with #communitydevelopment initiatives aimed at #empowering residents,” explained Gerritsen. SeiMilano features #ClassA buildings with low CO2 emissions, advanced #digitalconnectivity, and #smarthome systems that simplify daily living while promoting sustainability. Residents also benefit from the #PlanetApp, offering event booking, space reservation, and utility monitoring services. The visit showcased how Planet combines #smarttechnology and sustainability to create future-ready neighbourhoods with lasting value.

Planet Smart City’s horizontal projects in Brazil are driving growth in the housing market of the #Ceará region. #SmartCityLaguna, located near #Fortaleza, spans 330 hectares and will provide over 6,000 housing plots for a #futurecommunity of 20,000 residents. With 600 homes delivered, the project is now 80% complete, integrating 58 #smartsolutions like co-working spaces and air quality monitoring through the #PlanetApp. 🏡 Our #Aquiraz and #PraiaBela development, just 30 minutes from Fortaleza, covers 240 hectares and will deliver 2,800 homes and 4,000 plots, housing more than 24,000 people. Over 700 homes are completed, benefiting around 2,000 residents with 51 smart solutions. 🌴 #SmartCityNatal spans 170 hectares and will deliver 400 homes and 2,000 plots for 8,000 residents.
