We’ve been busy working on a fresh new brand for Plup! We’ve chosen this bright and fresh design which is reflective of the culturally diverse talent we film. Fun fact: the yellow used throughout our video and brand (#FFC902) is a nod to bilingual captions used in broadcast. That’s because at Plup we love hearing different languages and always welcome in-language interviews while also then including an English translation. You can follow us on our other channels 🤝 Instagram: https://lnkd.in/gFtHM8BG YouTube: https://lnkd.in/gq9E2X_s #inclusion #culture #rebrand

Thank you Plup Productions for sharing such a sweet story for Cultural Diversity Week!
New from Plup for Victorian Multicultural Commission's Cultural Diversity Week: 'Sweets by Aboulaban' 🍰 Hailing from Homs, Syrian family, the Aboulabans run a sweets shop in Melbourne, Australia, sharing their delicious hand-made Syrian desserts. From humble beginnings in their home kitchen and after much hard work, now to a flagship store, their recipes have been handed down the generations, serving loyal customers well known delicacies such as Halawet el-Jibn, Droom, knafeh and of course baklava. To celebrate Cultural Diversity Week, run by the Victorian Multicultural Commission, the week is an annual celebration of the state's diverse and powerful multicultural communities. To celebrate the theme of 'Our Shared Stories - Celebrating Together' Plup is proud to present a series of short documentaries of some extremely talented people from around the world, who now live in Australia.
