The PMCPA is responsible for the provision of advice, guidance and training on the ABPI Code as well as for the complaints procedure. The ABPI Code applies to pharmaceutical companies and governs the promotion of medicines for prescribing and certain non-promotional activities. A quick reminder that our public consultation on updating the 2021 ABPI Code of Practice for the pharmaceutical industry is ongoing and there is still time to get your responses in before 29 February, when the consultation closes. The ABPI Code embodies the pharmaceutical industry’s commitment to operate in a professional, ethical and transparent manner.
