And so it continues…. Not just PwC but I would expect all the big 4: Deloitte KPMG EY and the MBB McKinsey & Company Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and Bain & Company . Just to make it real, the cost of the new budget’s NI increase is £60k per Partner. So of course they are letting people go. Duh! Just wait till they make the adjustment for non partners. We are talking thousands of people who will be let go, just as we head into policy driven stagflation. This math is firm agnostic. As per my posts earlier in the year, I don’t have a magic wand, but if you are impacted and you don’t have a plan B but you do have a family to support, PM me. You are STILL amazing! And while you have equivalent qualifications and experience, your comp is half that of your US peers. So think hard about how you leverage/ arbitrage that (we can help…).
