About four years ago I suffered burnout. At the time I was suffering from a chronic anxiety disorder although I didn't realise that until afterwards. When I reached the point where I knew I couldn't carry on I had to do some soul searching. Why was my life like this, why am I so wracked with fear and anxiety? So I started a journey of self discovery. I realised that not only had I suffered with anxiety for about a decade I had also had occasional bouts of depression. So I began to get to know myself and to find out what caused my anxiety. I realised I was living my life all wrong. I had an amazing career as a sports broadcaster, a brand new car, a beautiful wife and wonderful marriage, why was I constantly feeling so bad, so tired, so stressed? After a lot of work I realised I wasn't living authentically, I wasn't living a life aligned with who I was and what I really wanted to achieve in life. I had taken on a model of the world without choosing it deliberately and I was ignoring my own personal wellbeing. Now four years later I'm living a life of balance, of my own choosing, I have deliberately assessed my values and priorities and have set them myself rather than allowing them to just happen to me. I am a life coach, which is almost like a sculptor who can look at you and see the potential for you to achieve all that you desire. Through specific strategies and skills, I will help you define yourself and create the life you envision. I can help you focus, provide direction, challenge you, support you, motivate you and celebrate with you. I am a trained and qualified master coach and a master Neurolinguistic Programming practitioner.
