Last week, Traffic Light System (TLS) Boxing Club, in partnership with London Borough of Lambeth and the Powerday Foundation, proudly opened a brand-new community facility. Through Powerday's commitment to supporting grassroots clubs, we supported TLS in funding a £150,000 investment, providing equipment, and collaborated with key partners to underpin the project. We are delighted to see the clubs doors open after two years of hard work, creating a hub for young people from across Lambeth. Client Case Study: Countryside Partnerships & Powerday at St Cloud Way The St Cloud Way project by Countryside is transforming Maidenhead’s town centre through a comprehensive mixed-use development. This development blends residential, commercial, and public spaces to create a vibrant community. Since early 2023, Powerday has been a key partner, providing waste management services to support this ongoing project. Services provided include skip exchanges, wait-and-load services, and COSHH collections. Client Case Study: Munnelly & Powerday at Brent Terrace Brent Terrace is part of the larger Brent Cross regeneration program, one of Europe’s largest and most ambitious urban regeneration projects. Committed to sustainability, the project aims to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2030. Our Client Munnelly Support Services , a specialist in logistics and construction, plays a key role in the project’s infrastructure and development phases. Their responsibilities include managing site logistics, overseeing traffic, and ensuring the smooth execution of construction activities, particularly in Brent Cross Town. Powerday has been delighted to provide sustainable and efficient waste management solutions to this ongoing project, and support its sustainability goals. This year, we have collected 762.61 tonnes of various material to date, 91.87% recycled, and 8.13% energy recovered.
