  • We are thrilled to announce that we are developing a heavy-duty electric truck charging hub at the Port of HaminaKotka, Finland. The site will be operational by mid-2025, supporting local logistics companies with their Net Zero goals.    Located at one of Finland’s largest ports, the PragmaCharge Hub will:   > Provide 24/7 charging services for heavy-duty electric trucks > Begin with 4 DC fast chargers (400 kW each) and expand to 12 chargers at full capacity > Support drivers with ultra-rapid charging to coincide with legally required rest breaks > Support the electrification of heavy-duty road freight around Southern Finland, with access to the EU's Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T)   This hub is part of our mission to help logistics companies achieve Net Zero by eliminating up to 195 tCO2e per truck annually. This is equivalent to removing ~35 passenger vehicles off the road each year per electric truck!   Are you looking to electrify your fleet or explore tailored charging solutions? Contact us today to start your journey towards decarbonising road freight. https://lnkd.in/d6RJmze6

Today marks a special day as we sign our first contract for electric Trucking-as-a-Service with Transnugon group in Valencia, Spain. We are proud to support Transnugon group as they transition their HGV fleet to electric, by providing access to battery electric HGVs, reliable charging infrastructure and operational software, all through a subscription-based model. Transnugon is a family run business and has been providing logistics transport in Spain since 1998. It specialises in delivery of consumer food and beverages with its fleet of more than 100 HGVs. By partnering with PragmaCharge, Transnugon will move closer to achieving its goals: “Greener and cleaner transport is possible. We will not stop until we achieve that our fleet is 100% sustainable”. None of this would be possible without the dedicated support we have received from MERCAVALÈNCIA logistics hub, our engineering partners ASPOR Engineering and Vestel Ingenieros, and our charging hardware supplier Power Electronics - thank you! PragmaCharge to launch one of the largest heavy-duty electric truck charging hubs in Spain We are proud to announce that we have secured our first site in Spain to build a charging hub for heavy-duty electric trucks. The 15,000m2 site next to the Port of Valencia will provide safe and secure parking for 60+ heavy-duty electric trucks. The Port of Valencia, which caters for as much as 40% of Spain’s shipping container traffic and over 8000 trucks per day, was a natural location for us. MERCAVALÈNCIA - where the charging hub will be located - is a Spanish state owned company part of the “Mercasa” network of wholesalers. It is the largest logistics hub for food and agricultural products, mainly fish, meat, vegetables, fruits and flowers, serving the Valencia region. The site has 500,000m2 of warehouses and other services, housing over 200 agro companies with combined annual sales of €1.15 billion. Supplying over 1.2 million customers every year, the volume of heavy-duty trucks running in and out of MercaValencia is over 500 per day. MercaValencia and PragmaCharge’s strategic partnership has a clear goal: to decarbonise heavy-duty road freight transportation of agro products, and to drive the future of sustainable logistics. "OK maybe #hydrogen won't be used for cars but it will certainly win for heavy goods vehicles and freight". You sure? Things are developing as I expected - if anything, faster. By 2030 it will be abundantly clear that the large majority of road freight will end up electrified. This is why I created PragmaCharge - to provide E-HGV truck-as-a-service, charging and low-carbon power, all on a per-km basis. If you are a European #freight operator with 30 or more trucks, or a port, logistics hub, rail-head, airport or industrial estate with over 100 truck movements per day, contact Anil Srivastava or Nikhil Amin.
