🎉 The recent Family Fun Day at Tadpole Garden Village was a huge success! Residents came together for a day filled with fun kid’s activities, live music, local vendor stalls, and even a dog show 🐾.  Led by residents Alan and Helen Launchbury, with support from Preim, this community event helped build stronger connections within the development. With local fire and police services attending and plans already in motion for a Pumpkin Trail and Christmas Light Switch-On event, the sense of community has never been stronger. We were delighted to read the news that Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes plan to create hundreds of inclusive play areas on new developments across the UK. Barratt Developments, and the UK’s leading charity for young wheelchair users, Whizz Kidz, have produced guidance that includes how play spaces should be designed and built on new developments, so they are accessible for children with physical disabilities and neurodivergent conditions.  Barratt will start to install the inclusive play areas on all its developments as the new design standards are introduced across the country. It is hoped that by the end of next year, there will be 125 new inclusive play areas across England, Scotland, and Wales, with hundreds more installed over the next few years. With this new approach, children of all abilities will be able to play, grow, and connect in environments designed for them within their own residential communities.  This movement toward inclusivity and accessibility is fantastic, and we look forward to continuing to support communal open spaces that offer enriching experiences for every resident. #InclusiveCommunities #EstateManagement #Housing
