At the Prime Performance Collective, we recently had the privilege of collaborating with an international not-for-profit organization for their offsite team day. They sought an inspirational speaker who could resonate with their team of 16 lawyers and provide a motivating conclusion to their day of team building. We were thrilled to recommend Lord Chris Holmes MBE, a current member of the House of Lords and a former Paralympic champion swimmer. During his swimming career, Chris achieved extraordinary success, winning nine gold medals, including a record-breaking six golds at a single Paralympic Games. He also earned numerous World and European titles, set 35 world records, and was awarded an MBE for services to British sport at just 20 years old. Beyond his athletic achievements, Chris served as the Director of Paralympic Integration for London 2012, helping to shape a lasting legacy for the Games. He also spent five years as a non-executive director at the Equality and Human Rights Commission, where he led the Disability Committee and advanced key diversity and inclusion initiatives. Chris is not only an incredible inspiration but also an exceptional individual to engage with. With Donald Trump's impending presidential victory looming, now seems to be the perfect time to showcase the work of one of our talented artists. Mark Reeve is a renowned caricaturist, illustrator and cartoonist who has designed caricature heads for Spitting Image, drawn for national newspapers and magazines from The Week, The Economist, The Mail On Sunday, ITV, BBC, Punch and GQ. A few years ago, Mark was hired to create a card game called 'Stop Trumps', a light-hearted and amusing take on the original 'Top Trumps' card game.
