Delivering excellence in Community Home Care Services across multiple areas, throughout the North West and Scotland.

About us

Our dedicated workforce of over 200 employees offer a high quality home care service, to service users of all ages (18 years+) in their own home and within extra care sites. This ranges from as little as 30 minutes support per day up to 24 hours live in care. Professional Carers has become many peoples first choice for flexible, efficient, affordable and tailor made care services. Over the last 20 years our carers' distinctive uniforms have become a familiar sight and as a team we have worked hard to build and maintain a reputation for high quality and high standards of care. We recognise it is important to give people choice and control over the care services they receive. Professional Carers is a family owned business which was founded in 1998. Within this time we have grown into a widely successful organisation registered by the Care Quality Commission and Care Inspectorate, contracted to provide care services with both Wirral Borough Council, the NHS and the City of Edinburgh Council.

Having strangers at the door and the fear of tricks being carried out can be very stressful. It’s important as a community that we support and protect our older residents and be thoughtful and considerate. This can make a significant difference to an individual’s sense of well-being and safety 👻🎃 Please be mindful of this, stay safe and of course, have a fun Halloween that's full of shivers, scares, and a bucketload of sweet treats! • International Infection Prevention Week’ (IIPW) aims to shine a light on infection prevention and remind us of the fundamentals for effective infection prevention and the role we play in keeping the public safe and healthy. Infection prevention FUNdamentals include: Ø Hand hygiene Ø Cleaning and disinfection Ø Vaccination Ø Personal Protective equipment (PPE) Ø Respiratory hygiene (catch it, bin it, kill it) Ø Injection safety Hand hygiene is the single most effective way to prevent the spread of infections 🧼👏🏻💦 Hands can transfer germs to every surface you touch. Clean your hands as soon as you can. Alcohol gel should not replace hand washing. Wash your hands with soap and water before meals and after going to the toilet. Cleaning your hands frequently for at least 20 seconds will help keep you and others protected. #stayprotected #iipw2024 #infectionprevention #communitycare #raiseawareness

Made out of over 2,000 lolly sticks, and built with his fair hands over 36 years ago, Bill has recently spent his time settling into Sycamore Place Extra Care and repainting this absolute master piece 🎨 Well done - what an amazing creation which deserves a big round of applause 👏🏻 it has been great to see this model once again come alive and thank you for sharing this heartwarming story with our team. #feelingcrafty #communitycare #makingmemories❤️
